The Anselm Society will launch its 2016-17 season at Jives Coffee Lounge, with a kickoff party and a concert by Pierce Pettis. This will be a chance to meet member artists and experience their creations, talk with interesting people about beauty and other topics, hear this year's plans for the Anselm Society, and enjoy fantastic music in a cozy setting with great food and coffee.
If you don't know Pierce, you might know his music--artists covering his songs include Andrew Peterson, Carolyn Arends, and Sara Groves.
Schedule for the evening:
- 5:30pm: Kickoff party begins, including...
- Food and coffee
- An art showcase and meet and greet with the creators
- Raffle of member artists' books, paintings, and more--drawings every few minutes and your entry gets you a ticket!
- Themed discussion tables (optional)
- 6:30pm: Doors open for concert seating
