Months of planning and prep are almost finished, and in January, with your help, our first episodes will drop.
The rebooted Imagination Redeemed podcast will be a feast: retellings of the great stories, and warm conversations on how to enter into the life of the Christian imagination.
It’ll feature hosts Brian Brown and Sarah Howell, and regular guests Amy Lee, Matthew Clark, Christina Brown, and Jeremiah England.
But to do it right, we need two things from you!
First: we need to invest in equipment, software, and editors. $2,500 gets us the first two, and our stretch goal of $6,100 would also get us a year of editing. With Giving Tuesday coming up December 3, will you make a gift to help us get there?
Second: we want your episode ideas! What are those lingering questions you have about the Christian imagination–or the life well lived with one? Things you’d like to see us explain more? Contact us and tell us!

In every episode, we retell one of the great stories, then follow its illumination to delve deeper into conversation about how to enter into the life of the Christian imagination.
We want the podcast to be a place where you can come in and experience beauty, joyful celebration, and ancient wisdom; and go out renewed, bringing that life to your home, church, and vocation.

What if Christian artists aren’t supposed to be lonely, wild-eyed oddballs at the fringes of the church? What if there were a way for them to be invited deeply back into the life of the Body of Christ?
Season 3: Why We Create
What does it mean to be made in the image of a creator God, and how exactly should that shape how we approach our vocations?

Fresh off the 2019 Rocky Mountain Artists' Retreat, we pick up some threads from the retreat: is "artist" something you'll be for eternity? Should you look inward or outward as you seek to answer the question, "who am I?" And what does it mean for God to redeem and perfect your creative work?
Many of the things which make the church unhealthy for artists are equally applicable to pastors. In this episode, we explore the gulf that often separates pastors and artists...and wonder if it's not nearly as wide as one might think.

Have you enjoyed listening to Redeemed Imagination as much as we’ve enjoyed crafting it?
Please take a moment to share your thoughts on the Redeemed Imagination podcast with us:
S1 E6: Hans Boersma, John Skillen, Junius Johnson, and Brian Brown discuss sacred art and how to bring it back into our places of worship.
S1 E5: What is the role of art in spiritual formation? What does it look like to form Christians? Maybe the pastor and his sermons don't have to be quite so alone in that task.
S1 E4: Does beauty matter? If you're listening to this podcast, you probably think the answer is obvious. But would you go so far as to say it is essential to Christianity? Is it, in fact, impossible to do Christianity well without it? In this episode, we argue exactly that.
S1 E3: What is a Christian imagination? Is it the same thing as a Christian worldview? In this episode, we explore how it is possible to be a practicing Christian yet still see the world through mostly secular eyes--and imagine what it would be like if a renaissance of the Christian imagination actually took place.
S1 E2: Imagination isn't about fantasy, nor is it the province of artists. In this episode, we debate imagination's role in how we understand the world around us...and how we live.
