Do you ever wonder what it means to be "called" as an artist or a writer? Or do you perhaps struggle with the fear that you have missed your call? Do you wonder how to create some balance in the tension between your "day job" and the work that is your passion? Do you wonder how to fulfill and stay true to a call that is clear to you? Do you ever feel lost in isolation and discouragement, or wonder if the art you make really matters?
The Calling to the Arts Workshop is personal, supportive, and focused on helping you find clarity about your calling and the empowerment to fulfill it. In these interactive sessions, we address four key the issues of calling: identity, gifting, purpose, and empowerment. These are the critical cornerstones of understanding who we are called to be as artists and how we are called to live as such. The Calling to the Arts Workshop uses teaching, visual presentation, group discussions, facilitated questions, prayer, and printed handouts, to equip you in fulfilling your call into whole-life discipleship.
