Punishment or redemption: How will Pinocchio end?
The Anselm Society Book Club continues its adventure through the unabridged version of the 1883 classic novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio. If a board book or the Disney kid flick is your only experience of the little willful wooden guy, you’re in for a surprise!
Join us Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 6:30 PM at a new location in southwest Colorado Springs. as we finish Pinocchio.
The club is open to all, whether or not you've read the book. For information or the location, send a note to anita@anselmsociety.org. RSVPs are appreciated but not required. Bring a snack to share if you can!
Pinocchio can be found for free online in a variety of places, including Project Gutenberg.
Bonus Points: We’ll be getting a jump on the Pub Night the Anselm Society has planned in November around the theme of Subcreation, which will include a retelling of Pinocchio!
Join us for an evening of celebrating Advent, sharing a potluck dinner together, and reading a Christmas short story aloud.
Join us as we huddle around a
fire enjoying warm food and
drink, exploring the darker side
of the Christian imagination.
Join us an evening of stories and songs with singer/songwriter Matthew Clark.
