What is the role of the arts in building a strong community? What about the role of food and drink, and the "third places" that provide them? Is it possible, when we're so busy and on the go, to have the kind of places that connect people, inspire them, and support them in knowing and pursuing God's call on their lives?

This month's pub night will feature a speaker duo: Yemi Mobolade and Russ Ware, owners of the Wild Goose Meeting House downtown. Yemi and Russ will tell the story of the Goose, and explore these kinds of questions. Bring your ideas and questions!

About the Anselm Pub Nights

A new addition for the 2016-17 season, Pub Nights are held at Jives Coffee Lounge on North Nevada (near Costco). The purposes of the pub nights are to allow us to meet more often, hear from more speakers and musicians, and build community as we deepen relationships and explore truth, beauty, and deep questions together. Content will vary; speakers, musicians, storytellers and poets, discussions, visual art shows, and more. Who should we feature at an upcoming pub night? Let us know!

Admission: free if you buy something from Jives (they'll have craft beers on tap in addition to coffee, tea, and food!).
