Concert by Parish House Baroque quartet.
Vintage Baroque Music and Readings from Shakespeare
Free concert followed by fellowship and refreshments
What better way to spend a midsummer Colorado night than to listen to some great baroque music, celebrate Shakespeare’s 450th birthday year with some lively readings, and fellowship with friends over some tasty treats? Parish House Baroque is an early music ensemble featuring historical instruments, local musicians, and sustainable practices. Terri Moon, friend and former member of HTAC, joins Eric Wicks on harpsichord, Elisa Wicks on violin, and Emily Anne Bowman on cello to play period Baroque music. Together, the musicians have over forty years of combined experience in early music and historical tuning, temperament, and improvisation. This is a free concert, so bring some friends. An offering will be taken after the concert to benefit Parish House Baroque and the promotion and preservation of vintage music.
