What a way to start the 2015-16 season! Anselm member artists joined 50 of our supporters for a special evening to kick off our year, hosted in the lovely home of Clay and Sally Clarkson. Proceeds from this event will fund our fall lecture series. We've got a photo gallery below!
Some highlights:
Lost Luggage entertained us and provoked our thoughts with their subtle melodies, beautiful harmonies, and thoughtful lyrics that took us outside ourselves. They are currently recording their first EP--stay tuned; we'll let you know when it's ready!
Member artist Lisa Eisenhardt donated a beautiful guitar (see pictures below!) she had created, which has an icon of St. Anselm inside the hole, and we all signed it. What a beautiful gift! Learn more about Lisa and see her other work on her member artist page.
The evening also included a special preview of our entire year, what we hope to build, fantastic food and drink (catering services donated by Tim Peterson), and wonderful conversations and new meetings.
